Blood Donor Registry

The Blood Donor Registry (hereinafter referred to as Registry) was established in the Health Information Centre of the Institute of Hygiene on 1 April 2012.

The Registry accumulates information on blood donor visits in blood donation institutions and donations (primary/repeated, remunerated/non-remunerated, successful/unsuccessful, name of donation) in Lithuania and, according to the established procedures, provides quarterly and annual reports on registered blood donors and donations according to: donor gender, age, whether the donation was remunerated or not; donor visits in blood donation institutions and number of donations; location of the donation; cases where donations were temporarily postponed/prohibited due to certain reasons and name of donations.
